Am I overdoing it with the cuteness here lately? I didn't set out for this to be a portrait project, but it seems to be what's happening these days. Don't get me wrong, I love a good portrait. But sometimes portraits can be so sappy, so predictable. I wouldn't want to give the impression of being overly gooey. And I definitely don't want this space to become emotionally manipulative. (I save that for my professional life.)
BUT.
But. I had another day off yesterday, which I mostly spent visiting friends with babies. I really didn't plan to put a baby picture in this space but my only other choice was a picture of a scooter in the snow and when I uploaded, it really didn't have any oomph behind it. Also, this was day 100 of this project, which is really just another day, but I felt like it needed some oomph to mark the passage of the century mark.
So meet Adelaide, who is day 100. As in 100%. As in perfect.

OMG, what a preshypants.
What a perfect portrait--you nabbed a wonderful little expression here. Excellent work in post too. My wife is Korean so when each kid turned a hundred days old we had a big celebration. Apparently it's a big deal. Happy 100 day!
Beautiful shot of a beautiful girl. I want to squeeze the baby!
OMG Are you kidding me!
